Creating sis.pkg:
To start, you create a pkg- file (C: \ SmartSIS \ sis.pkg),
which will describe the information to create a package.
This file should consist of 5 (6) lines:
1) folder inside the structure, which will be packed in the package;
2) the name of the program, which will be displayed during installation;
3) version of the program as a major, minor,
build (version should be strictly of
the three numbers separated by periods or commas (no spaces),
for example 1,6,32 or 2.5.0);
4) UID program is written in hex form (eg 0xA432E90A or 0xF1234567),
with the prefix 0x binding; beware,
as convergence with the UID ohm another program installation is not possible!
5), the author, the name of which will be displayed during installation;
6), a text file that will be displayed during installation;
encoded in UTF-16LE. This is an optional parameter, it may be omitted sis.pkg

File sis.pkg be encoded cp1251 (Unicode is not!).
Russian characters are not supported.

Creating structure files:
In the directory in sis.pkg should contain files
and folders to be packed in sis-paket. As usual, the File Manager,
create the necessary directories and files,
folders can be invested in one another and maintain files.

Packaging:
Selecting a menu pack leads to the process of packaging.
The process can last a very long time, depending on the size of its files.
It is desirable not to use the phone in the package!

NOTE: After creating sis-package file is not installed!
It is necessary to sign a certificate!

RotateMe is a freeware application for symbian OS 3rd edition devices,
which allow you to switch your phone screen from portrait to landscape
and vice versa.


Instructions Don't forget to install N95AccelerometerPlugin.sis
To rotate the screen, keep this application opened and rotate the phone.
You can disable the rotation by pressing simultaneously Pen and Camera keys.
To close rotateMe go to Options -> Exit.


Settings:


* Sensitivity:More sensitivity is set to a high value, more the display will rotate with a minor needing of rotation of the phone.
* Reactivity: More this setting is low and more you have to keep your phone in landscape/portrait position to rotate the screen.
* Auto Start: Enable this setting to launch rotateMe automatically at the phone boot.
* Inactivity Delay: After this delay of inactivity, auto-rotation will be stopped. Press a key, or unlock the keypad, to reactivate auto-rotation.
* Priority: High priority allows a better reactivity when big apps are launched.
* System App.: When activated, this setting prevents rotateMe to be closed by the OS in low RAM conditions.
* Hidden App.: Enable this setting to hide rotateMe from the tasks list.

Note: If you enable "Hidden App." or "System App." you will not be able to close rotateMe from tasks list.

There are two views in the program: Ans. machine & Msg. player. You can switch between them with left and right joystick keys.






Attention! Not all firmware versions support playing of Greeting. We ask you to test the application during the trial period to be sure that your firmware version is supported.



Ans. machine view:

Here you can see ans. machine state: turned off, waiting for a call, incoming call, playing greeting message, or recording message.

In this view you can also see your messages brief statistics, the number of unheard messages and an approximate number of messages that can be recorded (calculated as a ratio of free disk space to max. message size)





You can turn on and turn off the answering machine here. When the answering machine is turned on, you can see always-on-top small indicator in the right top most corner of the screen. This indicator will be visible in all apps as well when Answering Machine is minimized.




Msg. player view:

Here you can see list of messages. All unheard messages are shown in Bold font. Messages without message file are shown red (e.g. if message file itself was removed with a file explorer outside Answering Machine).





In this view you can play a message, call the person who has left the message immediately. When message is being played you may change its volume by joystick (left/right).

Note: for storing messages we use AMR sound format. This format is highly compressed and best suits answering machine needs especially taking into consideration the fact that Smartphone is limited in disk space.

You can get detailed message information here by selecting message properties. Here you can see message status (heard, unheard), call date/time, left message duration, whole call duration, name of the caller (if his/her name was found in your contacts), phone number (if determined), and file name where this message is stored now.



There are some more commands in advanced menu: Refresh - refreshes list of messages, delete message, delete all messages and pack messages. When packing all messages without corresponding message file are deleted (they're shown red)


Program settings:



Here you can define:


-Greeting message. This is the file played when the answering machine picks up the receiver. You may select your file with built-in file browser, record a message file right here, replay the message. When playing the message you can change the message volume by joystick (left/right)
Disk for recording incoming messages.
'Pick up after' option. Here you can define time (mm:ss) when answering machine has to pick up the receiver.
'Max.duration' option. Here you define max. length of the incoming message. After this time answering machine hangs up the receiver automatically.



Having setup finished press Done. To cancel the changes made press Options/Cancel.
